Matt Forte To Be A New England Patriot????

As Lifelong Bears Fan It's Going To Be Hard To See Matt Forte In A Different Uniform But If Was To Go Anywhere I Feel His Best Option Would Be As A New England Patriot. Being Paired With Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman And The Rest Of The Offense He Doesn't Have To Carry Such The Heavy Load Of The Offense Like He Did Majority Of His Career As A Bear. His Skill Set Would Fit Perfectly In An Offense That The Pats Run Uses Its Running Back In All Three Phases Of The Position:

1. As A Runner. Which He Has Shown Over The Course Of His Career To Be A Very Capable Runner As He Has Rushed For Over 1,000 Yards In 5 Of His 8 Seasons With The Bears And Never A Season Where He Rushed For Under 850 Yards Including Injury Riddled Seasons In 2011 And The 2015 Season. He Has The Ability And The Patience To Let The Holes Develop. Also He Still Carries The Ability To Make People Miss And Also Fight For Extra Yardage. He's Never Been The Fastest Back In His Career So Even With Him Being 30 Years Of Age There's Not Much Slowing Down For Him.

2. As A Pass Catcher. He Has Always Been Able To Run Routes Out Of The Backfield And Be A Quarterbacks Security Blanket When All Else Fails On Offense. With Him Catching Over 50 Passes In Every Season Of His Career Except The Before Mentioned 2011 And 2015 Seasons Where He Missed Games Due To Injuries. He Also Holds The NFL Record For Most Receptions In A Season For A Running Back With 102 Catches In 2014.

3. A Pass Protector. One Of The Most Underrated Faciets Of Forte's Game Is His Ability To Be A Blocker Which Made Him Prehaps One Of The Best All-Around Backs In The NFL Today. The Heavy Load He Carried In The Bears Offense He Didn't Pass Protect As Often As Backs Do In Today's Pass Happy League So It Goes Quite Unnoticed.
